The ISO 14583 is a specification that covers the features of hexalobular socket pan head screws. A Pan head ISO 14583 Screw derives their name because of the appearance of their head. The head of pan screws looks similar to that of an upside-down frying pan, hence, the name. They are in simpler terms a standard head type of non-countersunk screw. The DIN 7985 Screw Dimensions includes details like its wide head, along with its flat bearing surface.
The sides of these screws could be either high vertical, chamfered, or curved. Whereas the upper surface of the DIN 7985 Screw could be either flat or slightly domed with a recessed socket.
