Even when used in low temperature applications, the 20mncr5 steel forging bar demonstrates good toughness and better machinability.
However, the performance of Carbon Steel 20Mncr5 Hex Bar for welding operations is low; which is why this alloy is not suited to be used for use in applications that require welding. Generally, these CS 20Mncr5 Cold Finished bars are supplied in a carburizing quenching or quenched condition.
