Table of Content

UNS S31803 F51 Round Bar is used in applications for the ferritic grade strength and austenitic grade corrosion resistance combined in a single material; duplex. The duplex steels are categorized in three as standard duplex, super duplex and lean duplex. The uns s31803 round bar is a standard duplex grade and it is one of the most used of the duplex grade bars. The products can range in DIN, EN, ASTM, ASME and BS standards with different dimensions.

There are also different types such as the flat, hex, square and round bars all which come with different dimension sets. The F51 round bar, as it is known, can come in 3-800mm in size with specifications ranging from ASTM A479, ASME SA276, ASTM A279 and so on. These different specifications cover the different uns s31803 f51 Rods for various high corrosive, high temperature and high pressure applications. The bars are also used to produce other materials such as pipes, fasteners, fittings and flanges.

The ASTM A276 F51 Duplex Round Bar has 43ksi minimum yield strength and 105ksi minimum tensile strength. The material is made up of 21% chromium, 4.5% nickel, carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, molybdenum and nitrogen in the composition. This composition allows the Duplex Steel UNS S31803 Bars to have high performance under elevated temperature for long time. Since the bars are long lasting, they are used as replacements for other grades of materials to last long.
