Invar Alloy 42 Round Bar comes under different dimensions with different standards such as the DIN, ASTM, ASME and other international standards as well. The finishes vary for the bars such as black, bright polished, rough turned, No.4 finished, matt finish, BA finish and others.

There are round, square, hex, rectangular, and other types such as the billet, ingot and forging available for the UNS K94200 Rod types. These are made up of a material with carbon, manganese, sulfur, iron and 41% nickel. Therefore the material is heavy, corrosion resistant and heat resistant as well. The minimum tensile strength of the material ranges from 210MPa at 600 degrees Celsius to 490MPa at 20 degree Celsius and the minimum yield strength range from 93MPa at 600 degrees Celsius to 250MPa at 20 degrees Celsius.

The DIN 1.3917 Square Bars are used in chemical processing, food processing, petrochemical, pulp and paper, oil refinery and in pollution control applications as well. The Nickel 42 (FeNi42) Flat Bar and other products of this grade are known for better oxidation resistant and corrosion resistant.
