Lag screws are also referred to as coach screws by manufacturers. These screws are amongst the toughest kinds of screws available in the market. They may also be labeled as lag bolts. Essentially, the use of SS Lag Bolts is frequently in applications involving the connection of heavy timber or other materials that sustain an intense weight. Although they are different from other more common screws such as sheet metal screws, Stainless Steel Wood Screw, and self-drilling screws, they all have their own purpose.

Yet some varieties of fasteners may overlay onto territories of other screws. Generally, a SS Flat Head Wood Screw would be used to connect wood to wood.
